Nicholas Burgwin, P.Eng.
Vice Chair
Nicholas Burgwin, P.Eng. has over ten years of engineering industry experience. He has founded two companies (Fibos Inc. and SustainableAF, a Sustainable Aviation Fuel database). He has worked in academic institutions, including Toronto Metropolitan University and the University of Toronto, and he is now currently establishing the North American presence for a large European company in the green energy space.
Burgwin’s rich and varied industry experience gives him great insights into the needs of Ontario engineers. His passion for data, problem-solving, and community service are what encourage him to volunteer his unique skill set to the OSPE Board of Directors.
Burgwin studied electrical engineering at the University of Toronto and completed his master’s degree in electrical engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University.
