Khaled Mohamed
Ph.D., P.Eng., MACI, MASCE
Khaled Mohamed is a structural engineer with over 20 years of experience, specializing in fiberglass design and composite materials for the last 14 years. As Lead Engineer at Pultrall/V-ROD, he oversees projects in GFRP-reinforced concrete, contributing to sustainable infrastructure development. In addition to his industry role, Dr. Mohamed is a research assistant at the University of Sherbrooke, where he leads research in FRP reinforcement for concrete applications.
He actively participates in key code committees, including ACI 440, CSA S6, CSA S806, CSA S900.2, and fib Bulletin 40, helping to shape global standards for GFRP-reinforced structures. By collaborating with design engineers and researchers, he continues to support the adoption of sustainable innovations in the construction industry.
