Understanding the Full Costs of Electricity Generation Technologies
December 12, 2024 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Description
This webinar will explore the full cost components of different electricity generation technologies and their impact on retail electricity bills. While the Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOE) is often discussed, it’s only one factor. The webinar will explain how integration services like load balancing, frequency control, and voltage control affect overall retail prices, offering a comprehensive view of the real costs consumers face.
In this course, you will:
- Understand the true cost components of various electricity generation technologies beyond LCOE
- Learn how backup generation, frequency control, and voltage support contribute to retail electricity costs
- Gain insights into how generation choices impact carbon emissions and consumer bills
- Explore the cost implications of surplus energy, transmission, and grid upgrades
- Member Price: $0.00 (Please log in to see Member pricing. Price will automatically update in your cart)
